On February 21, 2026, the opening of a personal exhibition of the talented Odesa artist, teacher of the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University, Oleksandr PETROVSKY, took place at the Museum of the Ukrainian Book of the Odesa Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M. Hrushevsky. Being a student of Valentyn Filipenko himself (with whom he studied graphic arts) is a great responsibility, and Oleksandr worthily continues the traditions of the Odesa School of Painting. His creative handwriting is characterized by a unique ability to create subtle harmonies from bright pure colors, to generalize and highlight the most important thing in the motif.

The Young Master not only creates his own art, but also passes on this genetic code of beauty to the next generations - students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics.

The exhibition "My Places" unfolds before the viewer a wide panorama of the Ukrainian landscape - sea coasts, mountain ranges, rural landscapes, embodied in the technique of oil painting. These are moments snatched from the flowing time and recorded on canvas. The works breathe peace and harmony, inviting you to stop, look at the details and feel the beauty of our land.

The exhibition will last until March 7, 2026.
