On February 25, 2026, a delegation from Ushynsky University visited Odesa Lyceum No. 117, on the basis of which the Confucius Class for Children operates.

Teaching is carried out by graduates of our university, and the educational process is implemented within the framework of the activities of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University", a branch of which is open in the lyceum. Education is built on the principle of cultural and linguistic immersion: students study the Chinese language, traditions and art of China, participate in thematic events and concerts. On this day, the annual celebration of the Chinese New Year took place at the lyceum - a bright event that united students, teachers and guests.

The delegation was headed by Andriy KRASNOZHON, Rector of Ushynsky University; Hanna MUZYCHENKO, Vice-rector for Scientific Work; Oleksandra POPOVA, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Oleksandra MORHUN, Head of the International Department joined the festive event.

The cooperation between the university and the lyceum is implemented on an ongoing basis and is improved every year, which indicates stable partnership relations and common interest in the development of educational initiatives.

We sincerely thank the director of the lyceum, Natalia Stetsenko, and the teaching staff for the warm welcome, openness to cooperation, and high level of organization of the event. We hope for further expansion of the platform of joint projects and strengthening of the partnership.
