On February 27, 2026, a solemn award ceremony was held within the walls of the Odesa Regional Council for the professor at the Department of Innovative Technologies and Methods of Teaching Natural Disciplines of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky.
For special services to the Ukrainian people, one of the best scientists of Ushynsky University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Arnold Yukhymovych Kiv, a scientist who has been shaping the intellectual potential of the country for decades, received an award from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The ceremony was a recognition of the professor's many years of scientific, pedagogical and organizational activities, his contribution to the development of innovative teaching technologies and the training of new generations of scientists.
Arnold Yukhymovych Kiv is a well-known scientist in Ukraine and abroad who combines fundamental research with active teaching work. His scientific achievements and dedication to the educational cause have been repeatedly recognized at the state level.
Among the state and departmental awards of the professor:
- Honorary title "Honored Worker of Public Education of Ukraine" (19.12.1992, No. 301);
- Certificate of Honor of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for many years of scientific and teaching work and significant personal contribution to the development of creative cooperation with scientific teams of institutes of the NAS of Ukraine (21.04.2010);
- Badge "For Scientific and Educational Achievements" from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The staff of Ushynsky University expresses sincere respect to the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky Andriy Vasylyovych Krasnozhon for supporting the scientific community and creating favorable conditions for the development of innovative education at the university.
