An open lecture by Professor Myroslav Dutchak

On March 4, 2026, an open lecture on the topic "Movement Activity and Health" was held at the Department of Gymnastics and Physical Education and Sports Technologies, which was held by Myroslav Vasylovych Dutchak, Doctor of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Professor, Professor at the Department of Health and Recreational Movement Activity of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.

Myroslav Vasylovych Dutchak is a well-known Ukrainian scientist, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Full Member (Academician) of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Non-Staff Consultant to the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Youth and Sports.

The event was organized for graduate students of the department within the framework of educational and scientific-professional cooperation

In his lecture, Myroslav Vasylovych revealed key aspects of the impact of movement activity on human health, based on modern scientific data and the results of his own research. The lecturer also emphasized that insufficient physical activity is one of the leading risk factors for the development of cardiovascular, metabolic and musculoskeletal diseases. The need for daily compliance with the minimum norms of physical activity in accordance with the WHO recommendations was emphasized. Particular attention was paid to the impact of movement on stress levels, cognitive functions and social integration, which are important components of overall well-being. The lecturer presented modern approaches to monitoring physical activity, the role of digital technologies and promising directions for the development of the industry.

The event became an important event for the educational process, as it allowed participants to:

deepen scientific knowledge about health-promoting physical activity;

get acquainted with current data and methods used in world practice;

receive recommendations that can be used in educational, coaching and research activities;
