On March 5, 2026, the Faculty of Art and Graphics hosted a guest lecture by Tetyana Goranska, a senior lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literatures of the Faculty of History and Philology, in which she presented a new elective discipline “Literary Images and Plots in the Visual Arts”. The organizer and moderator of the meeting was Olena Spasskova, a candidate of art history, a lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Methods of Decorative and Applied Arts and Graphics.
The event brought together future specialists in foreign literature and art history, offering students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics and the Faculty of History and Philology an in-depth look at the artistic and literary heritage of the Middle Ages. The event was a great opportunity for students and connoisseurs of literature and art to delve into the symbolism, aesthetics, and romance of medieval plots and images that have inspired European artists for centuries.
