On March 16, 2026, on the eve of Academic Integrity Week, an open discussion of the updated version of the Code of Honor for Participants in the Educational Process of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" was held at Ushynsky University with the aim of improving the principles of academic integrity and ethical behavior in the university environment.

The discussion was attended by Oksana Maksym, Head of the Academic Integrity Promotion Group, Library Director, Serhiy Derevyankin, Head of the Authorized Unit for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption, and Valeria Yermakova, First Deputy Head of the Student Government, who expressed their suggestions and comments on improving the provisions of the Code of Honor. The discussion became an important step in forming a common vision of the values ​​of the university community and the development of academic culture.

During the meeting, the main proposals for updating the document were presented, aimed at strengthening the culture of academic integrity, mutual respect, responsibility and transparency in educational and scientific activities.
