On March 16, 2026, for applicants of the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty of Secondary Education (Physical Education), an online webinar was held within the discipline "Inclusion in Physical Education", dedicated to modern approaches to the organization of inclusive physical education.
The lecture was conducted by:
Gavrushenko Halyna Ivanivna - Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Education and Sports for Persons with Disabilities "Invasport";
Samarina Nataliya Dmytrivna - Chief Specialist of the Center, Sign Language Interpreter;
Shchekotylina Nataliya Fedorivna - Associate Professor of the Department of Gymnastics and Physical Education and Sports Technologies, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.
During the webinar, the participants considered the key theoretical principles of inclusive education, got acquainted with international trends and modern methods of adaptive physical education. Special attention was paid to the role of teachers and trainers in creating a barrier-free and safe educational environment, identifying individual needs of students, and adapting the training process.
The students actively participated in the discussion: they asked questions, analyzed real examples from practice, and discussed the challenges of implementing inclusive approaches in the educational and training process.
The event contributed to the formation of a modern vision of inclusion as a complex pedagogical and social phenomenon, and also became a platform for the exchange of professional experience and methodological ideas.
