The second stage of the project, which was launched at the Ushynsky University Mental Health Center with the support of the departments of general and differential psychology and educational management and public administration, has already become a place of strength and renewal for students.
Today, when the challenges of wartime require special psychological resilience, participants are actively involved in practices that help find inner peace. Classes are held in the format of live creative interaction, which creates a safe space for self-expression and emotional relief for each participant. Thanks to the use of art therapeutic practices, the students are able to effectively reduce stress levels and transform internal experiences into creativity. Such creative distraction techniques help to relax and, at least for a while, switch from the tense war reality to the creative process. An important component of the meetings is social integration: cozy communication over tea with treats promotes a sincere exchange of ideas and helps to form new strong ties, turning the group into a real community of mutual support.
The program is designed for 10 intensive classes (3 months), bringing together young people aged 17-25 on a weekly basis.
This project is important for our university community, as it not only supports the mental health of students in crisis conditions, but also forms a culture of mutual support. By helping young people find new resources, the university contributes to their development as confident and conscious members of the community, able to move forward despite all challenges.
