In the 2025–2026 academic year, the 16th International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literary Competition for Schoolchildren and Student Youth was held, which traditionally unites talented youth and promotes the development of language culture, creative thinking and a deeper understanding of the national literary heritage.
It is pleasant to note that according to the results of the regional stage, Valery Akimov, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of History and Philology, took an honorable 3rd place. This significant achievement is evidence of his hard work, high level of training and sincere interest in the Ukrainian word.
The student was trained by Halyna Andriivna Avksentieva, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literatures, whose professionalism and mentorship contribute to the formation of intellectually developed and creative youth.
We sincerely congratulate Valery Akimov on the achieved result! We wish you further success, new achievements and inspiration on the path to scientific and creative victories. May the words of Taras Shevchenko continue to inspire development, self-improvement and the affirmation of national values.
