On March 18, 2026, at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology, in a distance format, Baranova Veronika Volodymyrivna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher at the Language School "Total SCHool", held a guest lecture "Digital Technologies in Education" within the academic discipline "Digitalization of Education" for students of the second (master's) level of education under the educational and professional program "Preschool Education. Management of a Preschool Education Institution". The guest lecture was attended by: Kyrychenko Olha Stanislavivna, the stakeholder, director of Odesa Preschool Education Institution "Nursery-Kindergarten" No. 228 of the combined type of the Odesa City Council; Lystopad Oleksiy Anatoliyovych, Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Ushynsky University; Mardarova Iryna Kostyantynivna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy of Ushynsky University.
During the guest lecture, Baranova V. V. introduced higher education students to the features of using digital tools in the educational process. The guest lecture highlighted the problematic aspects of using modern digital platforms for organizing the educational process in preschool and higher education institutions, in particular, such services as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BigBlueButton, Google Meet, as well as messengers Viber, WhatsApp, etc. Special attention was paid to the analysis of digital resources used in the professional activities of teachers to create and edit text, graphic, video and audio materials, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice, DaVinci Resolve, Lightworks, VSDC Free Video Editor, Canva, etc.
The event confirmed the further development of effective and productive cooperation between the Department of Preschool Pedagogy of Ushynsky University with the Language School "Total SCHool", Odesa Preschool Education Institution "Nursery-Kindergarten" No. 228 of the combined type of the Odesa City Council.
