In order to introduce guest lectures into the educational process of Ushynsky University, the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature invited Shevchenko Tatyana Mykolaivna, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature and Comparative Studies of I. I. Mechnikov Odesa National University, who is a well-known literary critic, researcher of modern Ukrainian literature, co-author of the unique modern publication "History of Ukrainian Literature" in 12 volumes (2024). On March 19, 2026, within the framework of the discipline of Associate Professor of the Department Bandura T. Y. "Current Problems of World Literature" Professor Tetyana Shevchenko gave a lecture "Artistic Trends in Modern Ukrainian Literature" to 1st-year masters. The lecture presented, analyzed, and explored the main artistic trends and schools in modern Ukrainian literature, their socio-cultural specifics and features, in particular postmodernism, metamodernism, neorealism, digital modernism, etc. The lecture-visualization material was distinguished by its thoroughness, innovation, modern methodologies, interesting literary personalities, phenomena, and receptive experiments. Such guest lectures have already become a tradition in the favorable educational and scientific cooperation between Ushynsky University and I. I. Mechnikov Odesa National University.
