On March 19, 2026, at the Department of Political Science and Law of Ushynsky University , as part of the Academic Integrity Week, a student discussion platform on the topic "Academic Integrity in the Digital Age: Challenges and Prospects" was held.
The event was held in the format of an interactive discussion with the active participation of higher education students in specialties "Political Science" and "Primary Education". The organization and moderation of the platform were provided by associate professors of the Department of Political Science and Law Pronoza I. I. and Kamenchuk T. O., who created an open space for professional dialogue and exchange of views on the current challenges of academic integrity in the context of the digitalization of the educational process.
A feature of the event was the high involvement of students, who made their own presentations, in which they raised problematic aspects of observing the principles of academic integrity, analyzed modern risks and suggested ways to overcome them. The participants worked with practical cases, participated in the discussion of controversial situations, modeled examples of academic (in)honesty and jointly developed effective approaches to their resolution.
The representatives of the student scientific circles "PolitSpace UA–EU" and "Safe World in Modern Realities" joined the meaningful content of the discussion, who presented their own developments and took an active part in the discussion.
The head of the Department of Political Science and Law Naumkina S. M. and Assoc. Prof. Shvets S. L. also participated in the work of the platform, who noted the importance of forming a culture of academic integrity, supporting student initiatives and implementing interactive learning formats.
The event contributed to the development of critical thinking among students, increasing their awareness of the principles of academic integrity and forming a responsible academic environment.
