On March 25, 2026, a unique event took place - graduates of the second (master's) level of higher education in specialties B4 Fine Arts and Restoration, B3 Decorative Arts and Crafts were invited to a kind of insight expedition to the "holy of holies" of the artist - the workshop where the People's Artist of Ukraine Adolf Ivanovych LOZA worked.

One of the prominent personalities of the Odesa Art School, a master of color and light, embedded in undeniable compositional constructions, a singer of the South of Ukraine, Odesa and Odesa region, a creator of epic archetypal images of thematic compositions, an intellectual, a teacher of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University, Head of the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine is Adolf Loza.

Insightis is a deep penetration into the essence, disclosure and understanding of the features of the creative path and the individual expressive language of the Master’s art found, experienced, worked out by life took place thanks to a visit to the creative space where the artist created for more than 15 years, and where his daughter, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Ushynsky University Natalia Adolfivna Loza, continues to work now.

The students had the opportunity to hear a story about the artist’s life and creative path, see the works “live” (not in the photo) up close, examine the “alchemy” of the color transitions of the painted surface, and immerse themselves in the meanings of thematic compositions.

Memory lives thanks to the people who preserve it, transmit it, teach and learn. The expedition from the past to the future will have the result: “And the candle will not go out..!”
