On March 31, 2026, within the framework of the implementation of the international project BSB01214-MicroDanger, a bilateral meeting of representatives of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky" and Ordu University took place.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of Ushynsky University, Prof. Andriy Krasnozhon, Head of the Department of Germanic Philology and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, Anastasia Yumrukuz, as well as the Rector of Ordu University, Prof. Orhan Bash (Prof. Dr. Orhan BAŞ) and representatives of the Turkish side.

The meeting was made possible within the framework of the implementation of the international project BSB01214-MicroDanger, one of the tasks of which is to establish and develop partnership and academic ties between participating universities. Organizational preparation for the meeting was ensured in close cooperation between the Center for International Projects and Programs of Ushynsky University and the Faculty of Marine Sciences of Ordu University. On the part of Ushynsky University, this work was coordinated by the Director of the Center for International Projects and Programs, Assoc. Prof. Volodymyr Chernykh. On the part of the Turkish side, the head of the BSB01214-MicroDanger project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Remzi GÜL, a representative of the Faculty of Marine Sciences of Ordu University, played an important role in establishing the dialogue.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral inter-university cooperation, in particular the possibility of implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives, developing academic mobility, as well as establishing closer institutional ties between the structural units of both higher education institutions.

Special attention was paid to the new direction of training, which is planned to be launched at Ushynsky University, - "Turkish Language and Literature. Translator from Turkish". In this context, the parties discussed the possibilities of academic and expert support for the future educational program, the prospects for cooperation in the field of Turkish philology and intercultural communication, as well as the potential for future student and teaching exchanges.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation and signing of a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding, which should be an important step in strengthening the partnership between Ushynsky University and Ordu University.

The meeting showed that international projects are not only a tool for implementing common tasks, but also an effective platform for establishing new academic ties, expanding inter-university cooperation and developing Ukrainian-Turkish educational partnership.
