On April 9, 2026, the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University, with the support of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices, held a solemn event "Chinese-Ukrainian Spring - 2026" in the Odesa Concert Hall "Palladium", which was attended by students, high school students, teachers and directors of educational institutions of Odesa region, media, deputies and representatives of the regional and city councils.

The attendees were greeted by the Rector of Ushynsky University Andriy KRASNOZHON and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, Mr. MA Shenkun. Mykhailo SHMUSHKOVYCH, a representative of the parliamentary faction of the political party "European Solidarity", expressed sincere wishes for cooperation between China and Ukraine.

As part of the cultural event, students from various faculties of the university presented the audience with a real celebration of art. The atmosphere of the event was created by musical and choreographic performances of various genres: costumed ethnic and modern dances, Ukrainian, Chinese and world hits performed by our talented students.

The holiday included the participation of those present in a quiz dedicated to the most famous aspects of Chinese history, as well as a lottery. The winners were awarded prizes. The winners of the video calligraphy competitions (children's category) "Brush of Friendship", "Chinese Costume in Historical Dynamics: From Antiquity to the Present", "Talent Industry" received memorable gifts.

Such events contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries - Ukraine and China, the unity of student and schoolchildren, and the development of the creative potential of all participants in the educational process.
