August 31, 2018, the solemn ceremony of dedicating freshmen to the students of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky took place. With greetings to the students of the first year of study and their parents addressed the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Olexii Yakovlevich Chebykin, as well as the representative of the university supervisory board, the chairman of the Odessa regional organization of the Union of Education and Science of Ukraine Nina Dubovik, who wished them successful professional development in one of the best pedagogical institutions of higher education in Ukraine.

A festive atmosphere for the participants of the ceremony has been created by the musical greetings from the student asset, the faculty of music and choreography of the university.
