April 16, 2019, a ceremonial event took place at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky: the opening of the photo exhibition on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the policy of reform and openness of the People's Republic of China with the support of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in the city of Odesa.

Honorary guests came to the exhibition: the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Odesa, Mr. Sun Liucun, the Vice-Consul-General Ms. Chen Yuyuzun, the security advisor, Mr. Wang Tsi, the heads of the "Confucius Institute" branches and others.
