May 7, 2019, solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and the 74th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War were held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.

Teachers and students of the University have taken in the musical and literary evening devoted to the Great Victory in the Second World War. During the event, the participants expressed their gratitude to the veterans of the University. Student Club organized thematic creative performances of teachers and students, during which the attendees had an opportunity to listen to poems and songs of war years.

The thematic library exhibition "1939-1945: Remember, win" has been organized at the Library of University.
