October 1, 2019 students of the specialty 222 Medicine had a meeting with Academician of the NAPS of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences (Psychology), Professor, Honored worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Aleksij Yakovych Chebykin. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the main building of Ushynsky University.

The rector congratulated future doctors on the beginning of the new academic year. He told the students about the history and present-day life of their alma mater. Future healthcare professionals also learned about well-developed material and technical resource base for teaching medical disciplines.

The rector of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician Aleksij Yakovych Chebykin responded to all questions raised by participants.

Vice-rector in the development of Ushynsky University Oleksander Oleksiiovych Popadynets and a.i. Dean of Medical Department Oksana Volodymyrivna Novozhen also welcomed the students.

Ushynsky University began training professionals for the Master’s degree in specialty 222 Medicine in the branch of medical science 22 Health Care since 2019.
