On May 21, 2020, as part of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian embroidery at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, the 2nd round of the essay contest "WHAT PATRIOTISM AND LOVE FOR THE MOTHERLAND ARE FOR ME" took place in a remote format. The organizer of the competition of creative works on national-patriotic education of students was the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University.

According to the jury, the winners of the competition of student works were determined, which were: Grygorieva Julia (Faculty of Graphic Arts) - 1st place; Wise Vladislav (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities), Avramova Tetiana (Faculty of Foreign Languages), Kotsyubynsky Vitaliy (Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation) Shevchenko Olga (Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology) - 2nd place; Gordeeva Margaryta (Faculty of Primary Education), Ternovaya Hanna (Faculty of Music and Choreography) - 3rd place.
