On the basis of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky on September 4, 2020, a Conference on the development of physical education and sports of student youth of Odesa region was held. The event was co-organized by the Odesa Regional Branch of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Yakovych Chebykin addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

The forum summed up the results of the previous year, discussed long-term work plans for the next period. The issue of compliance with the requirements of quarantine restrictions during sports was debatable.
