On December 18, 2020, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” held a regional selection round of the XX All-Ukrainian competition "Chinese Language Bridge" in the Southern Region, which was attended by the students and lecturers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky and Chinese languages ​​and cultures.

The competition included three stages, in particular: monologue report on "We are together, we will win". The contestants presented themselves and expressed their understanding of the situation in the country, as well as their own experience of maintaining positive thinking during the pandemic. He unity and cooperation of countries in the process of cultural exchanges was the most popular idea of ​​this stage of the competition; questions and answers that involved participants' knowledge of Chinese culture, national characteristics of China, etc .; demonstration of personal talents: each of the participants presented their own creative style and arranged a visual celebration for the jury and teachers.

The "Chinese Bridge" is not only a platform on which students demonstrate their achievements in learning Chinese, but also a bridge that connects the cultures of the two countries.
