In the framework of international cooperation between the Faculty of Art and Graphics of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky (Odesa, Ukraine) and the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the State Pedagogical University named after Ion Creange (Chisinau, Moldova) March 16, 2021 year for competitors of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) level of education was held (remote) master class in calligraphy "Using calligraphy techniques in the Latin alphabet."

As with any art, calligraphy has different styles, techniques and tools. At the master class, the applicants discovered these differences and tried to write with classical and modern instruments. Teachers of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (Valeriu Hertz, Postolake Anna-Maria and Adrian Kucheryavy) conducted a practical acquaintance with calligraphy.

The master class consisted of a theoretical part - direct acquaintance with the material, and the main practical part, hand staging, spelling style and font character.

Calligraphy is an opportunity to see the beauty of lines and understand the value of handwriting in the modern world!
