On March 21-22, 2021, the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration organized an online seminar on "Financial autonomy of educational institutions: benefits and risks", which was conducted by Baranetska Olena Hryhorivna - Deputy Mayor for Executive Bodies - Head of Education Yuzhne city ​​Council.

The normative and legal support of the financial autonomy of the educational institution, its advantages, the transition algorithm, possible options for accounting and the specifics of the budget code were presented. The main purpose of the granted autonomy to educational institutions is revealed - to increase the level of efficiency of the institution's management, which will help to increase the efficiency of providing educational services, their quality. A separate issue focused on the organization of children's nutrition in preschool / general secondary education, step-by-step instructions were presented. The speaker also substantiated the probable risks and consequences of financial autonomy.

The online seminar was attended by full-time / part-time students of 073 Management (EPP "Management of Educational Institutions") and students of advanced training courses of the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of Socionomic Managers and Specialists.
