On May 25, 2021 on the basis of the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts of Ushynsky University was held an open lecture on "Physical therapy and occupational therapy" with the participation of representatives of stakeholders – Municipal Non-profit enterprise "Children's City Polyclinic #6 of Odesa City Council".

During the lesson the basic principles of practical implementation of physical therapy and occupational therapy of children with musculoskeletal disorders of different genesis in the conditions of modern medical institutions and rehabilitation centers, prospects of employment of specialists in physical culture and sports in medical rehabilitation centers were covered.

Note that the lecture had a practical focus. During the communication with students, special attention was paid to the problem of lack of specialists in physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy in medical institutions.
