On May 26, 2021, representatives of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities of Ushynsky University were involved in a sub-meeting of the NMC in the specialty 028 "Management of socio-cultural activities" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The main issue of the meeting was the proposal to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to include specialty 028 "Management of socio-cultural activities" in the list of scientific specialties in the fields of science, according to which the degrees of PhD and Doctor of Sciences are awarded.
