At the initiative of Maryna Yakovleva, the Director of the Information Centre of Euro-Atlantic cooperation at  South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky,  in cooperation with the Student Council at the University a discourse studio was founded for everyone to practice English while discussing interesting topics and meeting up with native speakers.

September 28, 2015 the discourse studio started its work. The guest of studio was Victoria Mikhailenko, Assistant Attach? of the US Embassy in Ukraine.

Students and young teachers had an opportunity to practice their essay-writing, resumes, correct typical mistakes. They were given a lecture-presentation of educational programs in the USA. The lecture «If you want to study in the USA» was presented as well. There was an active discussion about TOEFL.

                                        
All participants received answers to their questions. So we hope that such meetings will be held more frequently.
