On October 21, master's students of the second year of training of the Faculty of History and Philology within the scope of studying the selective discipline "Media Culture and Mass Media" (course manager - Associate Professor Zh. D. Horina) joined the online participation in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Seminar "Text and Image : features of interaction between narrative and visuality. Images of War", organized by the Department of Art History of Taras Shevchenko National University. This year, the thematic spectrum of the seminar covered a wide field of interdisciplinary problems and perspectives of understanding the artistic contexts and functions of the images of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which fundamentally changed the lives of our fellow citizens, but at the same time made it possible to leave the linguistic and cultural colonial heritage behind, to understand its origins, the ways of territorial, economic political and educational expansion and its tragic consequences.
