On May 4-5, a Ukrainian-Bavarian conference on double degree programs was held in Regensburg, which was organized as part of the BAYHOST project together with the Leibniz Institute for Eastern and Southeastern European Studies (IOS).
The conference was aimed at interested teachers and scientists, as well as employees of international representative offices and administrations of the universities of Bavaria and Ukraine. Vice-rector for social-humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work Andrii Nachev and head of the international relations department Oleksandra Morgun had the opportunity to connect remotely and present their ideas for cooperation and establish new contacts.
Joint and double degrees of Ukrainian and German universities are considered a promising model for future cooperation, even in wartime. They give Ukrainians the opportunity to study at Ukrainian universities and part of their studies at a German partner university.
