Halina Mosina, a student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in specialty A7 "Physical Culture and Sports", achieved an outstanding achievement by winning the title of vice-champion of the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo. Her brilliant performance in pistol shooting became a vivid example of professionalism, dedication and sportsmanship.
On November 22, 2025, the permanent specialized academic board D41.053.03 at the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky" successfully defended the dissertation of Khairulin Oleh Mykhailovych on the topic: "Game modeling of the subject's vital activity under conditions of uncertainty" for the degree of Doctor of Psychological Sciences in specialty 19.00.01 - general psychology, history of psychology.
On November 19-23, 2025, the international two-tour festival-competition of arts “Autumn Leaves – 2025” was held in Odesa. Concert performances of participants in the nominations “Academic Vocal” and “Instrumental Genre” took place live in the premises of the Evangelical Reformed Presbyterian Church. Our students competed in the same category with students of Odesa National Academy of Music named after A.V. Nezhdanova and received an unprecedented number of awards! The event lasted on November 20-22, 2025.
On November 20, 2025, one of this year's most significant events in Odesa in the world of percussion instruments took place on the stage of the Union International Cultural Center - a GALA CONCERT of participants in the city festival "Odesa. U-next. PERCUSSION!" - an art project organized under the patronage of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Marketing of the Odessa City Council.
From 16.11.2025 to 22.11.2025, a delegation of Ushynsky University visited Harbin (PRC) consisting of Vice-Rector for Research H. V. Muzychenko, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages O. V. Popova, and Head of the International Department O. O. Morhun. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a series of forums on the expanded platform of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center and to develop strategies for the development of joint scientific and annual reporting conference on the activities of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center in 2024−2025.
On November 20, the scientific research laboratory of training technologies "Skrepka", created on the basis of the Department of Theory and Methods of Practical Psychology of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences of Ushynsky University, was visited for an online meeting by Andriy Serghiovych Bortov, the Director of the Mental Health Center, a practical psychologist with 10 years of work experience, trainer, assistant professor of the Department of General and Differential Psychology of Ushynsky University.
On November 19, 2025, a guest lecture on the topic “EMDR therapy: basic principles of the method and principles of self-help” was held, which was conducted by Anastasia Bolshakova - Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychology of H. S. Skovoroda KhNPU, member of the UACBT and EMDR-Ukraine.
