On February 21, 2026, the opening of a personal exhibition of the talented Odesa artist, teacher of the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of Ushynsky University, Oleksandr PETROVSKY, took place at the Museum of the Ukrainian Book of the Odesa Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M. Hrushevsky.
On February 20, 2026, on the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, first-year students of the Faculty of History and Philology visited an open day at the Odessa Historical and Local Lore Museum, which was held in the Armory Hall.

In 2025, the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of professional skills “Teacher of the Year – 2025” was held in the Odesa region. Among the best teachers who represented the direction of history and won prizes were graduates from South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. Their achievements are convincing evidence of the high quality of professional training provided by Ushynsky University.
