On October 11, 2025, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky hosted the ceremonial completion of the second stream of the microcredit training program for internally displaced persons “Business and Technology: A New Start”, which is implemented within the framework of the international project TURBO Erasmus KA2 101129315 – TURBO – ERASMUS – ED – 2023 – CBHE “Universities’ Response to Major Obstacles: Creating Sustainable Higher Education for Responding to and Managing Social Crises””.

On October 10, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health of Ushynsky University celebrated its first birthday and joined the events on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.

This day united graduates, teachers, specialists and guests around the idea of ​​care, resilience and mutual support.

On October 9, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health of Ushynsky University gathered the student, academic and professional community for a unique event - an open meeting with Olha Litvinenko, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist, analytical psychologist, member of the Board of the World Association for Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP).

On October 10, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky will host an interactive event “Year of Care and Support” dedicated to World Mental Health Day.

Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law Serhiі Leonidovych Derevyankin was awarded the distinction of the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces "South" for his significant contribution to the protection of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, dedication and resilience, active public position and provision of comprehensive assistance on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
