On June 8, 2023, in the specialized academic board D 41.053.01, the defense of the doctoral dissertation of NAYDA Ruslana Hryhorivna on the topic "Theoretical and methodological principles of methodical training of future educators in the conditions of a pedagogical college" took place.
On June 3-4, the 4th international karate tournament "Odesa open" took place in the sports complex of the NU "Odesa Polytechnic". 604 athletes representing 37 clubs of Ukraine and Moldova took part in the competition.
On June 2, 2023, a specialized academic board with the right to accept for consideration and conduct a one-time defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy in specialty 017 Physical culture and sports conducted the defense of the work of postgraduate student Serhiy Gulyakin on the topic "Special physical training of figure skaters to competitions at the stage of specialized basic training in the preparatory period" (supervisor - Valentyna TODOROVA, Doctor of Science in Physical Education and Sport, Professor of the department of gymnastics and martial arts of Ushynsky University).
The dissertation received positive feedback from the members of the specialized academic board, the defense was successful.

On May 29, a defense was held regarding the passing of industrial practice (pedagogical in institutions of general secondary education) of full-time and part-time higher education students of the 1st year of study at the second (master's) level of the educational and professional program "Secondary Education (Physical Culture)" in specialty 014 Secondary Education (Physical culture), which took place from April 10 to May 19, 2023.
