On September 20, 2022, the traditional annual charity marathon "Journey through the country, united Ukraine" was held, in which more than 50 students of pre-university and higher vocational education institutions took part. The distance of the race from Shevchenko Park through the Health Route to Arcadia was five and a half kilometers, where along the route participants were waiting for signs with the names of all the cities of Ukraine, marking the unification of Ukraine and emphasizing the unity of the nation.

On September 19, 2022, an international online forum of directors of the Confucius Institutes was held, which was organized by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press of the People's Republic of China. Mr. Zhao Lingshan, Vice President and Secretary General of the China International Education Foundation, made a welcome speech.

On September 16, for students, studying under the educational and professional program "Public Management and Administration" at Ushynsky University, within the framework of the study of the discipline "South of Ukraine and Regional Policy" a guest lecture-round table was held on the topic "The Ukrainian Black Sea Region as a Social System".

On September 15-16, 2022, the Department of Biology and Health Care of the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" held the regular XIV scientific and practical conference "Adaptive Possibilities of Children and Youth". Rector Andrii KRASNOZHON, Vice-Rector for Research Hanna MUZYCHENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Hanna SOKOLOVA spoke with a welcome speech.

On September 1, the new academic year began at Ushynsky University and a meeting of the staff and students was held. The main item on the agenda was the "Report of the rector of the university for the 2021-2022 academic year", which was quite difficult, but nevertheless fruitful for intra-university events and international cooperation.
