February 24 is a difficult date. For Ukrainians, this is the day when rockets started falling from the sky, and Russian tanks started driving through peaceful cities, bringing destruction and death. Today is exactly one year since a full-scale war began in Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainians, for the sake of salvation, left their homes - cities that have turned into ruins, like Mariupol, or stand with unhealed wounds, like Kharkiv and Kherson.

On February 22, as part of the agreement on bilateral cooperation between Odesa State University of Internal Affairs and Ushynsky University, a class on fire training and providing first aid was held for students.

On February 21, the conference "Southern Ukraine as a zone of contacts and conflicts on the border of the sea and the steppe from ancient times to the present" was held in the library of Ushynsky University.

February 20, 2014 became the blackest day in the history of the independent Ukrainian state: dozens of Ukrainians who protested against the regime of the then president died in the center of the capital. 

February 20 is the Day of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred - people who rose up against injustice to protect the European future of Ukraine.

On February 20, 2023, a round table dedicated to the Day of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred was held online. The event was attended by the teachers of the Department of Family and Special Pedagogy and Psychology and full-time and extramural students of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology.
Olena Hryhoriivna Babchuk, the Head of the Department, Viktoriya Vasylivna Storozh, Veronika Hennadiivna Kovylina, Assistant Professors of the Department, and Margarita Igorivna Levytska, a student, prepared a presentation dedicated to the memory and honoring of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

On February 15, 2023, a meeting of the members of the working group for the provision of the educational and professional program in specialty 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture) was held.
During the meeting, a survey was conducted among teachers with the aim of improving and adding content to the ESP 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture).
In general, those present agreed that the educational disciplines proposed for study contribute to the achievement of the goal and acquisition of general and special competencies by students.
