At the end of September 2019, Professor O.V. Popova, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, visited a number of educational institutions of the Republic of Korea as part of the delegation of Ukrainian educators.

The program of the working visit included a visit to the Cholpa-do Education Administration in order to present the directions of activity of Ushynskiy University; a meeting with the Rector of Chonbuk National University (Chongju), during which the issue of academic mobility of higher education applicants and research staff in the field of humanities was discussed within the framework of the current agreement on cooperation between higher education institutions.

During the visit, guidance work has also been conducted among students of general secondary education institutions, staff and students of Korea National University of Cultural Heritage (Puyo City), Academy of Sciences and Arts (Sejong) and Seoul National University (Seoul). During the visit, a number of meetings have been conducted at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea to summarize and introduce progressive world educational and scientific experience into the university education system of Ukraine, the development of intercultural communication, the development of vectors for further cooperation.
