At the meeting of the Certification Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order No. 962 dated 03.07.2025), the decisions of the Academic Council of Ushynsky University on awarding academic titles and issuing relevant certificates were approved.

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 986 dated 08.07.2025 “On approval of the decision of the certification board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 03.07.2025 on the activities of specialized academic boards and the formation of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine” at the state institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” specialized academic boards were established for awarding the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences for a period of three years

Currently, the presence of a powerful cultural layer from the period of Ancient Greek colonization has been proven in the southern part of the semicircular square of the boulevard, the remains of walls and foundations of defensive buildings from the Odesa period, fragments of ceramics from the times of Ancient Greek colonization, the Medieval Italian factory of Genestre, the Ottoman period, and the end of the 18th century have been found. Research is ongoing.

On July 1-3, 2025, the teacher of the Department of Musical and Instrumental Training, Doctor of Philosophy Hanna RALO, conducted advanced training courses in the specialty "Percussion Instruments". 

On July 2, 2025, a working meeting was held between the guarantor of the educational and professional program "Public Management and Administration", Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration Oleh DOLZHENKOV, and the director of the municipal institution of the Odesa City Council "Grant Office 5T" Tamila AFANASIEVA.

On July 1, 2025, the Ushynsky University team presented the BOOST (Business Onboarding & Ongoing Skills Training) project by participating in the final Pitch Day - a presentation of the results of the pilot program of the Odesa National Economic University project "Creating a platform for university innovations and economic development. InnoHub." - a prestigious initiative aimed at developing innovations in education, technology and entrepreneurship. A total of 10 teams from 6 higher education institutions and research institutes took part in the presentation.
