January 11 is the International Day of Thank You.
This date is designed to remind us of the importance of a culture of gratitude, mutual respect, and humanity in everyday life and professional activities. On this occasion, the Ushynsky University Library is planning to hold an event called “Give a book to the library for a “Thank you.”
MARHARYTA CHUIKO, a graduate of the Faculty of Music and Choreography in 2022, who in 2025 received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine and the award - Diploma in the nomination "Woman of the Year - 2025" in the project "With Ukraine in the Heart". Marharyta is the author and performer of many of her songs. Mostly, they are about human emotions, about love.
The students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Zhang Chi and Kudyma Oleksandra made a significant contribution to the development of the choir, investing not only their time, but also their souls. Last year, the girls were already its participants, and this academic year they again showed the initiative in the fall semester of 2025 to join and support the team at Harbin Engineering University, but already in new, responsible roles.
Associate Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine, a well-known historian and Ottoman scholar Oleksandr Sereda gave a number of interviews to the national news agency “Ukrinform”. O. Sereda is one of the few scholars of Ukraine who read and interpret the Ottoman-Turkish language.
Traditionally, on the eve of the New Year holidays, the students of the 1st-3rd year of study majoring in "Management of Socio-Cultural Activities" (Guarantor - Prof. O. Liseyenko) and lecturers of the Department of Philosphical and Sociological Studies and Socio-Cultural Practices (Head of the Department - Prof. Yevhen Borinshtein) together with the public organization "Women's Association of Ukraine "DIYA" (Head - Nataliya Deliyeva) held a charity event "Make a Holiday for men and women defenders ".
The vocal and choral ensemble of students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices under the direction of Olena Stepanivna Lesnik became the laureate of the VI International Festival of Choral and Vocal Arts “Christmas Fire”.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Oksana Pavlivna Nozdrova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy, a respected colleague, a talented teacher, a kind and sincere person.
“Once Upon a Christmas” is the name of the fairy tale that choreographic students presented to schoolchildren and residents of the village of “Avangard”.
