On October 20, 2021, the election of the rector of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" took place. 612 voters had the right to participate in the election of the rector. The total turnout was 535.

On October 19, 2021, Ushynsky University hosted an open binary lecture on "The analysis of the study of the metacognitive sphere of personality in domestic and foreign literature" on the subject "Personality in the value paradigm of society" (optional component for students (2d year study, 3d third educational and scientific level of higher education) in various specialties).

On October 19, 2021, the final meeting of the Board of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University of the third convocation took place online. Partners from Harbin Engineering University praised the work of the Center in 2020. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Confucius Institute continued to be active on advanced digital platforms during the reporting period and achieved significant results in the fields of culture, education and science.

As part of the educational project "Our audience is the whole city", students and teachers of Ushynsky University took part in the scientific conference "Lesya Ukrainka: ties with Odesa and modern context" this autumn October. The conference was held in the luxurious building of the Odesa Literary Museum. It was organized and brilliantly conducted by the Honored Artist of Ukraine, famous public figure Serhiy Savchenko.

On October 12, 2021, an open online lecture on "Prospects for the digital transformation of the Odesa region in 2021-2023" was held. It was conducted by Gapanovich Yaroslav Valeriiovych, the Deputy Director of the Municipal Enterprise of the Odesa Regional Council "Regional Information and Analytical Center", Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration.

On October 11, 2021, Ushynsky University hosted an open binary lecture on "Philosophical ethics in the system of scientific knowledge" in the discipline "Philosophy and ethics of scientific research" (a mandatory component for students of the 1st year of study of the third (educational and scientific) level higher education in various specialties).

On October 11, 2021 within the training course "Philosophical issues of pedagogical thought in Ukraine" at the invitation of Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor Z.M. Atamanyuk for I.B. Nikolaiiva, a student of the 2d year of study at the third (educational and scientific) level of ESP in the specialty 033 Philosophy , there was delivered a guest lecture on "The three-solar unity of G.S. Skovoroda" by N.V. Ivanova, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor of the Public Institution of Higher Education "Lutsk Pedagogical College", who is a recognized specialist and professional, scientist-practitioner on this issue, has many publications and scientific research and actively implements them in the educational process.
