May 19, 2019, in the city of Chornomorsk, the International Festival-Competition of Arts "Fest music 2019" was held, in which the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography have been awarded prize-winning places. La Yang and Sun Xiaodong have received the titles of Laureates and the first prize in the Instrumental Ensemble nomination. The 3rd year student Tetyana Kozlova has taken the 2nd place.
By the centenary of the creation of the Odesa Film Studio (1919): a meeting with the well-known sound engineer Yukhym Vasylovych Turetskyi, the winner of the silver prize "Nika" for his achievements in the field of cinema art.
The meeting has been held by the Department of Physical Education.
In Kamyanets (Dnipropetrovska region), the final competitions of the XIVth Summer Ukrainian Universiade of Ukraine in swimming in 2019 took place. The overall management of the organization and holding of competitions is carried out by the Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Swimming Federation.
Since 2003, on the third Saturday in May, Ukraine celebrates Europe Day in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 339/2003 of April 19, 2003. On Europe Day Ukrainian people celebrate the day of common values, the common history of all nations of the continent. The Department of Political Science and Law has joined the celebrations. The lecturers of the Department S. I. Rostetska and I. I. Prognozu together with students of the specialties “Law and Political Science” conducted an educational event on Europe Day, identifying the common values and orientations of the Ukrainians and the EU. The bright effect of the event has become a creation of the flag of the European Union, which is joined not only by students but also by the lecturers of the Department.
May 16, 2019, during the celebration of the Day of Science on the basis of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology, an All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Pedagogical Heritage of Kostyantyn Dmytrovych Ushynsky in the Dimention of Modern Education" was held in the library of Ushynsky University. May 15, 2019, a meeting of the University of Warsaw and Universities of Ukraine took place, in which the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Chebykin and the Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw signed a Memorandum on cooperation in mobility. In addition, the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Chebykin has presented the conditions for the holding of the international symposium "Youth for Dialogue and Tolerance in Elimination of Social Conflict" in May 2020.
May 13, 2019, at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D.
