On the basis of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky on September 4, 2020, a Conference on the development of physical education and sports of student youth of Odesa region was held. The event was co-organized by the Odesa Regional Branch of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Yakovych Chebykin addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.

On September 2, 2020, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute”, Student Council, teachers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Ushynsky University, as part of the celebration of the City Day, prepared and conducted for Chinese residents and guests of South Palmyra online Chinese language training  “I greet you ... ”,  hieroglyphics master class “Write your name ... in Chinese”, drawing workshop “Magic body art paints”, tea ceremony according to Chinese traditions, presentation of educational Chinese literature and information booklets, as well as consultations of school graduates for the admission to the University in the specialties "Secondary education. Language and Literature (Chinese, English, Turkish) "," Philology. Translation (from English, Chinese to Ukrainian) ».

Bohdan Kyriyak, a student of the Faculty of Music and Choreography, won another victory - the title of laureate of the first degree at the International Festival "Mozart golden piano festival", which took place in Vienna (Austria) on August 29, 2020.
