April 16, 2019, multi-sport competitions UKRAINIAN STUDENTS GAMES took place in Kyiv. The first year student of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of Ushynsky University, Pilnevich, Maria, for the first time took part in these competitions and became the bronze medalist of the All-Ukrainian Student Games. Her coach is Doctor of Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Todorova Valentyna Georgiivna. Congratulations to Maria and her coach with high sporting results!

April 15-16, 2019, within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Science by the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky", Harbin University of Engineering, the section of theoretical and applied linguistics of the South Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine V International Scientific Conference "Actual Issues of Philology and Professional Training of Specialists in Polycultural Space" was held. The forum has been held with the support and participation of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center of Ushynsky University.

April 16, 2019, the "Job Fair" was held for senior students and graduates of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. The event has been attended by 20 representatives of employers.

April 16, 2019, a ceremonial event took place at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky: the opening of the photo exhibition on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the policy of reform and openness of the People's Republic of China with the support of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in the city of Odesa.

Студенти факультету музичної та хореографічної освіти стали володарями Гран-прі в номінації «Театральний жанр» на Міжнародному фестивалі-The students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography became the owners of the Grand Prix in the nomination "Theatrical Genre" at the International Festival of Arts "Black Sea Breeze", which was held in Odesa on April 12-13.

April 12, 2019, the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine visited the city of Odesa with an official visit. During the visit, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine, Mr. Li Young-Gu, together with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in the city of Odesa, Mrs. Muzaleva-Angeloeult Darya Borysivna visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (No. 1313 dated November 28, 2018) "On conducting an All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in 2018/2019 n. on the basis of the Faculty of Music and Choreography, the Department of Musical Art and Choreography of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky", April 9-12, 2019, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty "Choreography" was held.
