On May 11-20, 2024, seminars on scientific work under the NAWA IMPRES-U: Spectral and geometric methods for damped wave equations with applications to fiber lasers were held at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland, Warsaw, where representatives of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky
On May 22, 2024, Ushynsky University took an active part in the youth job fair held in the City Garden. The main goal of this event was to prevent the growth of unemployment among young people, to increase the awareness of young people about the state of the labor market and its needs, as well as to provide information about the opportunities provided by the state employment service.
On May 21 at 3:00 p.m., on the initiative of the members of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature, an online meeting was held with a Ukrainian poet, public figure, activist, founder of the street poetry project and the free association of poets "Just poetry", a member of the Council on Culture and Art at to the head of the Odesa regional state administration (2018) Andrii Khayetsky.
The international scientific and practical conference "Innovations in the design of the professional formation of specialists in the university space", initiated by the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University, has completed its work. Its co-organizers were SSI Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information (Ukraine), Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine), Southern Scientific Center of the NAS and MES of Ukraine, Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University (Moldova), State Ilya University (Georgia), Higher School of Sports Education (Poland).

As part of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?", which was initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, on May 16, 2024, the event "Ukraine is an indomitable family" was held in the assembly hall of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky". It was also possible to join the event online.
On May 17, 2024, to the Day of Science, an open guest lecture on the topic "Scientific foundations of physical culture and sports: modernity, past, future" was held for students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels in specialty 014.11 Secondary education (Physical culture) of the educational and scientific institute of physical culture, sports and rehabilitation.
