On June 1, on the occasion of Children's Day and World Parents' Day, the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Preschool Education: Realities and Prospects" was held on the basis of Izmail State University of Humanities. The conference was attended by teachers of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Preschool Education, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Science, Professor Alla Bohush; Ph.D., Professor Lyudmila Berezovska; Ph.D., Associate Professor Iryna Popova; teacher-intern Stanislava Dikhtyarenko.
Today's requirements for obtaining high-quality higher education encourage the use of new approaches in education. One of them is the involvement of invited specialists in the educational process with the aim of better assimilation of educational material by students and activation of the creative process.

The speaker of the event was Lyudmila Mykolaivna Marchuk, professor, head of the Department of Ukrainian Language of Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohienko National University.
On May 29, the department of theory and methods of preschool education organized a round table discussion on the issue of "Improving the quality of education for children of early and preschool age." The round table was initiated in accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education.
