On May 18, 2023, an informational meeting was held at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology (Teams Platform) for students of the first (bachelor's) level of full-time and part-time education regarding the commemoration of the victims of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars and the struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatar People.

Before Vyshyvanka Day, a patriotic-educational event was held on the Teams platform for students of the first (bachelor's) level of 1-4 courses. Vyshyvanka Day is a relatively new national holiday, but nowadays this holiday is gaining even greater significance.
Vyshyvanka is our genetic code! Vyshyvanka Day falls on the third Thursday of May every year. Usually, on this day, Ukrainians wear vyshyvankas, which are the traditional clothes of our people. Students, teachers and representatives of the administration joined the traditional university flashmob "Dress up the embroidery".
Every year on May 18, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide of the Crimean Tatar People. It was on this day in 1944 that the totalitarian Stalinist regime began the deportation of the Crimean Tatars. The result of this crime was numerous victims among the civilian population.
On May 18, 2023, according to tradition, the Open Day of the Faculty of Foreign Languages was held in the premises of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center. The event was attended by students of senior classes of secondary schools in Odesa.
18 травня 2023 року з нагоди «Тижня науки» та в межах співпраці між ЗВО-партнерами Університетом Ушинського (м. Одеса, Україна) й Аріельським Університетом (м. Аріель, Ізраїль) на платформі Zoom було проведено лекцію-круглий стіл “Modern Teacher in Ukraine and Israel: challenges and perspectives” для здобувачів першого та другого рівнів вищої освіти, які навчаються за спеціальністю 014.021 Середня освіта (Англійська мова та література).
