The students majoring in 281 "Public Administration" of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky on December 12, 2020 took part in the online training "Public Authority in Ukraine", initiated by ELSA Kharkiv and Ambassadors of European youth.
On December 12, 2020, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” of Ushynsky University successfully conducted a standardized multi-level international test HSK for distance learning Chinese. 22 candidates from all regions of Ukraine took part in six levels of the HSK test.
On December 10, 2020, a press conference was held by the teachers of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky at the Odessa Media news agency, during which the history, achievements and prospects of further development of the real center of art education in Odessa were presented.
Traditionally, on December 10 Human Rights Day is celebrated worldwide. The teachers of the Department of Political Science and Law, the students majoring in 081 Law and 052 Political Science are not the first to join this holiday. This year the department organized a round table "I have the right!", where the students presented presentations on current topics on human rights in Ukraine and the world.

On December 4, 2020, the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, Academician Olexii Yakovych Chebykin, met with the leadership of the student council and representatives of the student body of institutes and faculties.
On December 4-6, 2020, an international seminar "Liberation from Addiction: An Existential Approach" was held online at the Center for Medical and Psychological Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky.
The training was conducted by Professor Simon du Plock from the University of Middlesex (London, UK). The seminar was attended by students, graduate students of Ushynsky University, as well as practical psychologists, addictologists from Poland, Great Britain and Ukraine.
