On February 4, 2021, the student group "Skilled Speaker" resumed its regular meetings at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The next meeting was dedicated to the topic "Building successful communication with negative listeners." The participants learned the basic rules of conflict-free communication, means of regulating the aggressive mood of listeners and regulating their own emotional state during the performance. The techniques of effective communication with different types of listeners were considered.

On February 4, 2021, two art events took place in the Lviv Palace of Arts: a personal exhibition of paintings by Oleksii Malik, a lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, “I have what I have” and “ART BATTLE of two generations X and Z” - the final stage of the project of the collective competition of the Odesa art group "Riki" (headed by Olexii Malik for over 8 years), which includes both graduates and graduates of the Faculty of Graphic Arts.

On February 1, 2021, at the beginning of the new semester, an exhibition of tapestry was opened in the walls of the Faculty of Arts and Graphics of Ushynsky University. The curator is Zinaida Dmytrivna Borysuyk, a senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Decorative and Applied Arts and Graphics, who has been teaching at the Faculty since 1965 and has established her own school of handmade artistic weaving in Odesa.

At Ushynsky Ushynsky on January 29, 2021 at the Faculty of Music and Choreography was held a public defense of the dissertation "The preparation of future Masters of music for the formation of artistic and aesthetic worldview of the individual by means of piano music" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, specialty: 014 Secondary education (Music). The dissertation was defended by a graduate student of Ushynsky University, a citizen of China Wang Lu. The defense was first provided via video link.

On January 29, 2021 at the Faculty of Music and Choreography Ushynsky University there was held a public defense of the dissertation of Moskwa Olena Mykolaina "The formation of technological culture of future teachers of music in the process of vocal training", presented for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 014 Secondary education (Music).

On January 26, 2021, Vasyl Petrovych Novakovets, a graduate of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky, was appointed an expert of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Ukraine in specialty 41 - Theology.

The excellent results obtained by Vasyl Petrovych during the preparation in specialty 073 Management at Ushynsky University became a reliable foundation for career growth.

Congratulations to the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography Zhan Xin, Di Tanchao, Li Hunyan, Anna Grabovska, who won first place in the International Festival-Competition of Arts "Caspi Art", which took the 1 st place in Turkey on January 2-14, 2021.
