On November 7, 2019, the 2d Congress of Disability Specialists of Ukraine "Actual Problems of Education and Upbringing of Children with Special Educational Problems in the Educational Realities of Ukraine" was held in Kyiv, dedicated to the 185th anniversary of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University as well as to the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Special Education for Inclusive Education.
October 30, 2019, in the course of studying the discipline "Administrative Law and Process", a lecture was held by the Deputy Director of the Center for Administrative Services of the Odesa City Council Anastasia Vasylivna Shilova on the topic "Public and administrative services: the procedure for providing", where, along with theoretical provisions, there was the focus on practical aspects of the provision of administrative services, existing problems and prospects for their development in Ukraine and at the local level in particular.
October 30, 2019 Member of the Presidium of the National Union of Regional Studies of Ukraine Bazhan Oleg Grygorovych presented one of the most prestigious awards in the country, Certificate of Honorary Ethnographer of Ukraine for recognized scientific achievements to Victor Anatolii Savchenko Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky.
On October 28, 2019 the representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine visited Odesa. During the visit to Ushynsky University the First Secretary of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, Mr. Parahat Redjepov, met with the Rector, Academician Olexii Yakovych Chebykin, and also gave a lecture for students on the organizational and educational topic.
October 25-28, All-Ukrainian Carpathian Pearl Art Contest was held in Bukovel. The jury of choreographic nominations was presented by the well-known dancers as Amador Lopez, Francisco Gomez, Vlad Yama and others.
October 27, 2019 in our city there was held the Open Cup of Odesa region in aerobic gymnastics, attended by more than 200 participants. The students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation Maria Pilnevych (2d year of study) and Sofia Bundyak (1st year of study) have won the following types of programs: group, trio, and individual performances.
The piano duo of the undergraduate students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography Roman Klimenko and Yan Shisiao (class of professor N.K. Belova and trainer A.I. Mamykina) took the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Arts Competition “South Coast 2019” held in Chornomorsk on October 27, 2019.
October 25, 2019 Doors Open Day of the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky took place.
