Congratulations to the students of the class of associate professor Levitskaya I.M. Bohdan Kyriyak, who became the winner of the III degree of the 1st International Musical Virtual Festival Competition, which took place in Jerusalem (Israel) and Marharyta Molokoedova, who took the second place in the VI International festival "Music Universe" (Odessa).

On November 26, 2020, within the project "New Ukrainian School - a new teacher" at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky held an online seminar "Development of components of the professional profile of a teacher".

Foreign graduate students of the Department of Music and Choreography took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Youth, Education, Science and Art", which took place on November 26, 2020 at the Faculty of Arts of Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. The reports of Tao Zhuei (China), Andres Rojas (Ecuador) and Wang Binbin (China) were well received by the participants and organizers of the conference. Congratulations to the young researchers and their supervisor, G.Yu. Nikolai, Dr. of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor with a successful presentation of the practical results of the dissertation, which they performed within the laboratory "Innovation of Art Education".

Until March 1, 2021, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after  K.D. Ushynsky is granted unlimited test access to the functions of the online service "Grafiati".

The service simplifies the design of lists of used literature for scientific articles, graduate works, abstracts, and dissertations.

On Novebber 24-25 2020, a methodological seminar was held on the basis of the Faculty of Music and Choreography with the participation of Miroslav Kisel, Habilitated Professor of the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland).

On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, a scheduled training and advisory session was held with representatives of the Personnel Department of Ushynsky University on the prevention and ways to resolve conflicts of interest among university staff. The class was conducted by                   G.L. Grigorov, Head of the Commissioner for Corruption Prevention and Detection, Candidate of Law. During the meeting, the threats of a potential conflict of interest due to the work of close persons in direct subordination to each other were discussed, as well as legally defined ways to resolve such situations. As a result, a clear algorithm of actions for their settlement at Ushynsky University has been developed.

On November 20, 2020, at Ushynsky University, on the basis of the faculties of foreign languages ​​and preschool pedagogy and psychology, a public defense of the dissertation "The formation of a subculture of future foreign language teachers in a polylingual educational environment" was held for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, specialty 015 - "Vocational Education". The dissertation was defended by O.S. Smutchenko, a lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary Education of Kherson State University.
