December 24, 2015 in Methodological center of artistic and aesthetic education of children and youth a New Year's concert of creative teams was held.

 Santa Claus and his granddaughter welcomed the participants and guests with the New Year’s Day.

December 23, 2015 at the Faculty of Musical and Choreographic Education a real theatrical performance "Winter holidays in Ukraine" took place. The ritual winter holidays are preserved in the treasury of Ukrainian folk art from ancient times. They are considered as the most important event of the year. Among winter holidays the Ukrainians honor St. Andrew’s Day, St. Nicholas’ Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.

The event was attended by 60 representatives of student government from more than 10 Universities of Odessa. It was opened by Olga Kryvoruchko, Assistant Deputy Minister of Education.

2015-2016 season Odessa team “Burevisnyk” took the second place after two tours.

This year our University is represented by “Burevisnyk-2”. After two tours it took the eighth place.

It was a great event for students, academic staff, alumni and students at the Faculty Psychological Education of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky.

The student of the Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation Volodymyr Voronko won the silver medal of the Faros Marathon 2015 held in Croatia. The Faros Marathon is one of the oldest and most prestigious swimming marathons in the world. This year athletes from 19 countries took part in it.
