May 10-11, 2019, Open Voice Competition "STAR BEL CANTO" was held in Odesa in memory of Mykola Leonidovych Ogrenych. The Grand Prix of the competition has been received by the 4-th year student of Faculty of Music and Choreography, Ushynsky University, Margarita Beschastna (class of senior teacher T.G. Shafarchuk, concertmaster A. Yu. Turbinsky).
Within the framework of the development of international cooperation with the People's Republic of China, on May 7-10, 2019, a delegation from Lingnan University headed by Vice-President, Professor Dai Thu visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.
May 7, 2019, solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and the 74th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War were held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.
May 6, 2019, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky was visited by the delegation of the Chinese company "Wan Xue", which is the largest network of centers for the promotion of education in China.
May 6, 2019, in the framework of celebrating the Day of Science, with the support of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute", a student scientific and practical conference "Science Progress in Ukraine: New Concepts and Modern Solutions" was held on the basis of the faculty of foreign languages of Ushynsky University.
May 4-5, 2019 the Ukrainian Championship on aerobics took place in Odesa. The category "Girls, Youth" has been attended by the students of the first year of study at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehab, Cristina Velyka and Maria Pilenevych. The athletes successfully have performed and won high positions in the finals of the competition. Cristina Velyka have taken the 4th place, and Maria Pilnevych the 3rd place in the category "Individual performances". The athletes are trained by their coach - Doctor of Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor of the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts Valentyna Georgievna Todorova. Congratulations to the athletes and their coach with one more win on high level competitions.
At the initiative of the Student Council of Ushynsky University on April 24, 2019, at the training and rehabilitation center "Burevisnyk" sports competitions for the "RECTOR’S CUP" took place. The competitions have been held in various sports, namely:
April 24, 2019, the graduation of the participants of the advanced training courses under the program "Physical Culture and Sport" trained according to the qualification category "trainer-teacher" took place. The coursework has been held at Ushynsky University of Advanced Studies at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Certification at the organizational and methodological support of the departments of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports disciplines; sports games; educational management and public administration.
