Students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of Ushynsky University participated in the XV-th festival-contest in Slovakia "Mountain constellation - aspiration, fantasy, flight", which took place March 23-26, 2019 in the ancient city of Liptovsky Mikulas. In various nominations, they took the 1st place and received the "GOLD CONSTELLATION" awards.
March 25, 2019 at the Faculty of Philology, Ushynsky Universit there was conducted a literary and artistic event on the occasion of the 205th anniversary of T. Shevchenko's birth by N. Pavlyuk, PhD., lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literatures, and its students. In addition, a competition for poetry reciprocal poetry of the Kobzar has been held among students. The most talented readers have been awarded certificates.
A participant of the talent show "Voice of the country-2019", the student of the 1st year of study at the Faculty of Music and Choreography of Ushynsky University, Bogdana Renk (Potap's team), "blind" listening, vocal "battles" and "knockouts" and entered the semifinal of the song contest !

March 23-24, 2019, the International Festival-Competition "On the Waves of Music 2019" was held in the Black Sea region of Odesa region, where the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of Ushynsky University took part and became winners. In the nomination "Instrumental genre", Li Hunyan (class of senior trainer A. I. Mamykina) and Lee Yuji (class of senior trainer N. B. Ashhimina) took the 1st place.
March 22, 2019, the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky held a solemn "Chinese-Ukrainian Spring" in the Odesa concert hall “Palladium”, hosted by teachers and students, trainers of educational institutions of Odesa region, Chinese language course attendants and representatives of the Chinese diaspora, departments of the Odesa City Council, as well as the media.
On February 15, 2024, the "Confucius Institute" Educational and Cultural Center of Ushynsky University held a solemn event "Chinese-Ukrainian Spring", which was attended by rector Andrii KRASNOZHON, Hanna MUZYCHENKO, the vice-rector for scientific work, representatives of the student council and students of higher education.
March 2, 2019, a seminar for students and teachers was held at the Department of Mathematics and Methodology of its Training at Ushynsky University in accordance with the plan for carrying out events to commemorative dates, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian mathematician Olexii V. Pogorelov.
